Individuals and establishments throughout the Nevada County community have, together, shaped a reputation built on historical significance, beauty, and an unshakable sense of citizenship. When one meanders the neighborhoods of Nevada County, drives its highways, or patronizes its establishments, the collective worth the community has for the richness of the region’s topography is evident. And nothing shows a greater sense of pride than the way a community preserves the integrity of its geographic opulence and maintains the cleanliness of its roadways, parks, facilities, and natural landscapes.
Please join Anew Day and Waste Management as we endeavor to regenerate and preserve that which defines the splendor of our historical community. On October 7, 2017 hundreds of Nevada County individuals and organizations will serve its citizens through the community-based second annual Random Acts of Kindness Event (RAKE). From highway clean-up and park landscaping to school revitalization and trail restoration, we will work to clean and refresh our community’s streets and neighborhoods.
As a RAKE sponsor you are in a unique position to actively demonstrate pride for the small corner of America in which you live and show to your family, friends, and neighbors what community is all about.
• $1,000 sponsorship includes your business name and logo on all event-related promotions and marketing in The Union, name and logo promotion on the RAKE website, your name recognition on local radio advertising, and your name and logo included on event t-shirts.

American physicist and social activist Patch Adams astutely asserted, “We can never get a re-creation of community and heal our society without giving our citizens a sense of belonging”. Now is your opportunity to help further cultivate the sense of belonging for which Nevada County is known.
